Beach trip

We visited Emerald Isle for the first time. The boys had a blast even though it rained 99 percent of the time thanks to a tropical storm! We really enjoyed being together and didn't let the rain stop our fun!

Liam turns 5

Dear Liam,

How are you five years old??? This happened so fast and I am just not ready for you to be such a little boy. You love riding your bike, playing basketball, soccer and feeding the ducks. You are such a fighter, but it's what I love about you. You are getting better about listening and are great with helping out with your brother and cleaning up at the end of the day. You have such a sweet heart and want to make everyone happy. You love to draw and are amazing artist. You have an old soul you favorite tv shows are Charlie Brown and Andy Griffith. You are doing really well in preschool and love doing your homework( I hope this last). I love you so much and can't imagine my life without your silliness and sweet smile. Happy Birthday my love!!

Liam's first camping trip

Liam went on his first camping trip. We went to Linville Falls. He loved the hiking and swimming in the waterfall! We also checked out grandfather mountain and did a couple of hikes there!

How is my sweet baby 2 and a half! We celebrated today with cupcakes!! Here are some new things Colin is up to. He loves to sing songs. So far he can sing Jesus loves me, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and the Reading Rainbow theme song! He loves to snuggle and talks a mile a minute. He has so much energy climbing, running, getting into everything. He is such a good toddler except for his temper! He get angry sometimes and has to go to timeout because of it. He loves to eat chicken pot pie spaghetti and meatballs and eggs! I can't wait to se what the rest of the year holds.

First day of School 2015

This year is Liam's last year in preschool, I can't believe next year he will be in kindergarden! This Colin's first year! Liam had a hard time his first day, but Colin ran right in! Liam has gotten better now that he is in the swing of things he loves his teachers and his best bud Ladd.

Dear Colin,

How is my baby boy 2! You are such a delight to be around. You are always happy go lucky and have a smile on your face. You love to run and play outside. You are all boy and love playing with cars and dinosaurs. You are for sure a little monkey. You think it's fun to pull out your dresser drawers and climb all the way to the top. Your favorite tv show is Sesame Street you love anything Elmo. You have started to have a few meltdowns, but as long as I distract you it doesn't last too long. You are always talking and love to pretend you are calling people with anything you can pretend is a phone. You say so many words here are a few: Hello, bye, boon (liam) I think your trying to say brother, Mommy, Daddy, Mizie(Maya) Robert, Emmie, GaGa(Granna), snack, juice, Star, Ball, Soccer, socks, feet, and shoes. There are a lot more,but you say those words most frequently. You go to school one day a week and really love it!

You love to bring me books and we read a lot together your favorite is You're not so Scary Sid. You love to give hugs and kisses and snuggling is my favorite with you. I am so glad you entered the world 2 years ago you make my life so full and happy. Our world is a better place because of the love you give to everyone in our family. To the happiest sweetest little boy Happy 2nd birthday!

Asheville fun

We really needed a small trip and went up for a day to Asheville to hang out with good friends. We checked out Addison Winery and The library and had a great time releaxing!
