Pregnancy must haves

Here is a list of things that have helped me throughout my pregnancy and will hopefully help others!

1) A great supportive bra. This helps with back pain and if your trying to save money go ahead and buy a good nursing bra. I bought 2 of these and they have great coverage plus for no wire plus they still support D plus breast.

2) A body pillow- I needed this more for my second pregnancy than my first although, I still used it with Liam. I dont have a special one for pregnancy but the standard kind works just as well for me.

3) Mama Mio Tummy Rub Stretch Mark Butter- This stuff rocks!! Personally, I really think stretch marks are genetics (if your mom got them you will) I have not gotten them with my 2nd pregnancy I also use EVOO as well (sounds weird but olive oil really helps even with scars). Because I already look like a burn victim and had to be induced last time from a rash called PUPPS that is caused by excessive stretch marks I am trying not to get any this time because I do not want to be induced plus I feel I already have enough scars on my belly! : )

4) Supersoft leggings- These are expensive for leggings but I wear them at least 5 times a week and you can't see through them which is nice once you get larger.

5) Contigo Water Bottle- It is super important to stay hydrated and running around with a 2 year old is hard to find time to drink unless I have this bottle which was a gift from one of my husbands friends. This is a great must have for after the baby as well. It is way easier to breastfeed when you stay hydrated! Plus it is a no spill so if Liam gets a hold of it I do not have to clean up a mess!

6) Excersie ball- I bought mine from physical therapy, but you can get an exercise ball anywhere. Make sure you have the right size for you. I use a 26' based on what the PT told me I needed.  I bounce around on this and do exercises for my back and it helps a lot!! One of my legs is longer than the other causing one of my hips to be higher than the other. This isn't a huge deal when not pregnant but when carrying 30 pounds of extra weight it is really painful causing a lot of back and pelvic pain. Buy one if you have any back or pelvic pain. I can now walk again without feeling like I am going to fall down from the pain!
